| Lake Martha Association MeetingApril 14, 1993 7:00P.M.MinutesThe meeting was called to order at 7:45. The treasures report was read by Cheryl Hancock. Brad Johnson suggested that everyone pay dues tonight. There was some discussion about raising dues to replenish the restoration fund but that decision was postponed. George Ladd motioned to apply for weed cutting permit. Motion was seconded by Laura Bauer. Motion passed. We need to get the brake boats fixed up. John Raitor, Andy Brallier, George Ladd, Gary Jackson, Steve Hancock and Lance Scott volunteered to help. Brad will talk to Jerry Mattson about setting up a time. Cards were passed around showing a picture of milfoil. Everyone should watch for it. Del Hogan talked about the lake restoration. He had slides of lake samples from the Lake showing that there has been a condensation of sediments which means they are being oxidized faster than they are being deposited. Phosphorus concentrations has dropped to 18 PPM. Everything's doing what it should, so the algae season should be shorter. We should harvest the curly leaf early. He still recommends no chemical treatments. Dell would also like someone to monitor the fish for size. He doesn't think that the retreatment will have to be done for a year or two. Frank forsberg is ordering phosphate-free fertilizer again this year for anyone who is interested. George Ladd motioned to adjourn. Laura Bauer seconded. Meeting adjourned. | |
